B | Consideration and Adoption of Resolution No. 2023-31: A resolution approving the Third Amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement and Third-Party Agreement between the City of Flagstaff, Coconino County and Paw Placement of Northern Arizona dba High Country Humane for Animal Sheltering Services. | ||||||
Police Chief Dan Musselman stated that the resolution would authorize a five-year extension to the agreement with High Country Humane. He noted that annual price adjustments would be based on the CPI and applied on July 1 of each year. The total increase would be $12,769 over the prior year. He also stated that the amendment was consistent with the charges Coconino County had agreed to provide. Sam Wheeler, Chairperson of the High Country Humane Board of Directors, addressed Council and thanked them for the consideration of the amendments and stated that the amendments would provide the tools necessary to take their organization to a higher level. |
