Mark Reavis: Introduced the project and applicant. Anne Mead (Architect for the project): Provided an overview of the proposed project, including siting and architectural components of the accessory dwelling unit being constructed, and work on the existing home. Jeff Kramarczyk (Applicant): Noted that the removal of the garage would allow the existing chimney on the home to be visible. Anne Mead: Noted that she and the applicant had met with Mark Reavis to ensure that the ADU design met the Townsite requirements. Emily Dale: Asked if the existing garage is in the back of the property. Mark Reavis: Confirmed that the garage was in the back. Sara Dechter: Shared the renderings and photos of the existing property and proposed ADU. Duffie Westheimer: Expressed appreciation for the attention paid to the Townsite overlay. Asked how far out the porch will come. Anne Mead: Clarified that the new porch will come out 8 ft, while the old one came out 6 ft. Duffie Westheimer: Asked whether the project will require the removal of the two flowering trees in the front of the property. Jeff Kramarczyk: Stated that, no, neither tree will be removed. Duffie Westheimer: Asked whether any flooding occurred where the accessory dwelling unit is being constructed. Anne Meade: Stated that she was not aware of any significant flooding and that the site had good drainage. |
