B | PZ-23-00137: City’s request for a Zoning Code Text Amendment to change the minimum parcel size in the Manufactured Home (MH) zone from 5 acres to 4,000 square feet as well as add minimum lot width and depth standards. Staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission, in accordance with this report, find that the required findings of the Zoning Code have been met, and that the Planning and Zoning Commission make a recommendation to the City Council for approval of the Zoning Code Text Amendment. |

Zoning Code Manager, Tiffany Antol gave a PowerPoint presentation to the Commission that included an overview of the proposed amendment, a visual example of manufactured home (MH) zone lot standards, staff recommendations and findings. Tiffany Antol stated that the five acres was meant to be specific to a mobile home park or manufactured home park, which is more the correct terminology. Therefore, the amendment proposes a minimum of 4,000 square foot lot size, which is more in alignment with the other residential zoning categories. |
