Consideration and Adoption of Resolution No. 2023-65: A resolution of the Flagstaff City Council, declaring official and adopting the results of the Special Election held on November 7, 2023. |

Director of Communication and Civic Engagement Stacy Saltzburg addressed Council and stated that the resolution was to declare official and adopt the results of the November 7, 2023 Special Election. The Special Election was a ballot-by-mail election that presented 20 questions to the voters of the City of Flagstaff. Nineteen questions were proposed Charter Amendments and one question was a referendum of Ordinance 2023-11. The election resulted in a 43% voter turnout. Of the 19 Charter Amendments, 12 were passed by the voters and 7 were not approved. The referendum of Ordinance 2023-11 did not pass. |
