Background and History: |
The City of Flagstaff has approved an Administrative IGA between the City and the District for over seven years now. This has allowed multiple benefits to both the City and the District relating to things such as joint: purchasing, policies, academies, trainings, grants opportunities, and response in a limited resource region. This has also been the key driving force behind regional standardization. By approving the IGA extension, it will allow for the feasibility analysis to be completed which will determine the best path moving forward for both the City and the District. The estimated time for completion of the feasibility analysis is nine-months and this extension will allow that information to be taken into consideration for future contract/agreement options. |
Key Considerations: |
A solid partnership that allows for joint oversight by a single administrative team to best support both the City and District All-Risk response needs. |
Community Involvement: |
Helps meet council goals and community partnering |
