A. Coordinator for Indigenous Initiatives Update

Staff Liaison Toehe will provide updates on the following:
  • Indigenous Day Events
  • Native American Heritage Month Event
  • Alternate Response Model regarding Care Center and developments
  • Indigenous Commission Recruitment (two resident vacant seats)
  • Budget Retreats and City Bond/s
  • Thorpe Annex Parcel, Public Participation
  • Community Contact Circles
 
6. DISCUSSION ITEMS/POSSIBLE VOTE
 
A. Alternate Response Model - Mobile Unit

Mobile unit approved by City Council to start operations.  Feedback needed on the following
CARE (Community Alternative Response Effort) Mobile Unit or
BHART (Behavioral Health Alternate Response Team) Mobile Unit (possibly with a purple heart) or do you want to submit a recommendation within a couple of weeks?
 
B.   Introduction of Southwest Decision Resources (SDR), Inc.

SDR staff will share background and informational PPT on the service they are providing to the City of Flagstaff. Staff will use about an hour of the meeting to conduct an external stakeholder interview involving the Thorpe Park Annex Parcel as part of public participation. 
 
  Participate as fully and openly as possible regarding this important topic and process. The information you provide will play an important role in advising City leadership and City Council.
