TITLE:
Future Heritage Commission Meeting Locations and Technology
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
The Chair should lead a discussion on the potential ways that the Commission may return to in-person or hybrid meetings in the next phases of the City reopening.Identify questions for staff and describe any preferences.
Executive Summary:
The City Hall has reopened and the mask mandate in City Hall is being lifted on June 14, 2021 for vaccinated visitors and staff.  City Council may soon be reconsidering returning to hybrid and in person board, commission and Council meetings. The City Clerk has asked for the Commission's feedback on:
  1. preferred meeting room and location
  2. what options for joining the meetings technologically the commission would like to have available (Teams meeting, phone, etc.)

It is anticipated the joining the meeting remotely and having commissioners, applicants and staff join remotely will remain available options in both the Council Chambers and the Staff conference room at City Hall. City IT staff has equipped the both rooms with new equipment to ensure that meeting streaming for commissions addressing development cases (i.e. Planning and Zoning, HPC, etc.) and the ability to join the meeting remotely will remain available.
